Alan Wong's Restaurand and sister establishment the Pineapple Room will be making use of plentiful local mangoes in many varieties in special menus in the coming weeks.

The restaurants got their first shipments from Mark and Candy Suiso's Makaha Mangoes recently and have developed cocktails, a new salad, a roast duck dish, mango coconut custard pie with more to come at Alan Wong's (949-2565).

In the Pineapple Room, a salad, a duck dish and sorbet will be featured (945-6573).
