Phoenix-to-Honolulu flight diverts to San Francisco
Hawaiian Airlines Flight 35 from Phoenix to Honolulu diverted to San Francisco this morning after an anomaly was discovered in the plane’s hydraulic system, Hawaiian Airlines spokesman Keoni Wagner said.
Ground crews in San Francisco discovered a faulty component and replaced it, Wagner said.
The problem was discovered about two-and-a-half hours after the Boeing 767-300 left Phoenix at 8:05 a.m. today, Wagner said.
The flight normally arrives in Honolulu at 11:35 a.m. It’s now scheduled to arrive at 5:52 p.m. tonight, Wagner said.
