Pahoa beat defending champion Kailua, 41-38, to win the Hawaiian Airlines Boys Basketball Division II State Championships at the Stan Sheriff Center tonight.

Pahoa, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation runner-up, finishes the season 9-9. Kailua finishes the season 15-5.
Nick Fisher scored 17 points and Isaiah Ekau, the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Daggers.

Jordan DeCorte led Kailua with 14 points.
