Robbery victim says 2 men wielded electric stun gun

Advertiser Staff

Police were investigating a complaint filed by a 22-year-old man who said two strangers threatened him with an electric stun gun and robbed him while he was walking through a parking lot at the Mililani Town Center early Sunday morning.

The man told investigators he was walking past a parked Nissan automobile about 1:20 a.m. when the driver got out and demanded money from him.

He said that when he refused to turn over any money, a second man, who had been sitting in the back seat, got out of the car, held up a stun gun and fired it, causing it to produce sparks.

The man who filed the complaint said he gave the driver $10, after which the driver took his backpack.

The two men then got back in the car and left the area, the complainant told police.

Police classified the incident as a first-degree robbery.
