Youth Day Camp is for kids who have lost a loved one
Hospice of Hilo is planning a free Youth Day Camp for young people who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
The camp, for those age 5 to 17, is aimed at helping children express their feelings and learn healthy coping strategies while sharing their experience with other youth.
Participants will also gain a deeper understanding of the grieving process while developing communication skills related to their grief.
The camp is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 19 at Mohouli Park in Hilo.
To register, call Pua Evans at 808-969-1733 or visit www.hospiceofhilo.org. The camp also includes lunch.
