Gonzaga's Tatriana Lorenzo will be making her second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Lorenzo, a 5-foot-5 redshirt junior guard from Wahiawā, and her Gonzaga women's basketball team (27-4) is seeded seventh in the NCAA Tournament's Sacramento Region and open the first round against No. 10 North Carolina (19-11) on Saturday at Bank of America Arena in Seattle.

The Bulldogs, who won their second straight West Coast Conference tournament title to earn an NCAA automatic bid, have won 18 straight and are making their third NCAA tournament appearance in school history. If they extend their winning streak to 19, the Bulldogs will face the winner of No. 2 Texas A&M-No. 15 Portland State in Monday's second round.

Gonzaga defeated Portland State, 64-57, on Dec. 13 and its last loss was to Texas A&M, 80-76, on Dec. 20.

Lorenzo, a 2006 Kamehameha Schools graduate, has appeared in 29 of 31 games this season, averaging six minutes per game. She has 25 assists, 17 rebounds and 10 points this season. She played in both games at last week's West Coast Conference tournament in Las Vegas, totaling one point in 17 minutes.

Lorenzo played in 32 of 34 games last year when Gonzaga won its NCAA first-round game against Xavier before losing to Pittsburgh in the second round.

As a freshman in 2006, she played in six games, starting three, before a season-ending knee injury.
