A man is in serious condition after he was stabbed at an Aiea recreation center Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. at the Aiea Bay Recreation Center at Kamehameha Highway near McGrew Point, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department. The man, who appears to be in his 30s, suffered at least one stab wound and was taken to the hospital in serious condition., Cheplic said.
Police were at the scene investigating the incident.
