An annual security training exercise is set for next week at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and the Pacific Missile Range Facility on Kaua'i.
The one-week exercise that begins Monday is called Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield 2010.
The military said it is the largest anti-terrorism and force protection exercise conducted nationwide across the Navy. It is the first year Navy commands in Hawai'i will participate.
Officials say the exercise isn't in response to any specific threat but is regularly scheduled.
