LYON ARBORETUM PLANT SALE APRIL 10

The Lyon Arboretum at the University of Hawai'i-Mānoa will hold a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Admission is $2. Available for purchase will be thousands of plants supplied by manyu nurseries. In addition to the sale, plant doctors will be available to answer questions, and there will be fun activities for keiki. LIBRARY TO FEATURE OHANA MUSIC TOGETHER

Ohana Music Together, an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, will be presented at the Hawai'i State Library March 30 at 10:30 a.m. in the Edna Allyn Children's Room. Rebecca Andrew, owner and director of the group, will conduct the free program.

MATHCOUNTS CHAMPS GOING TO FLA.

Ethan Vo of Washington Middle School took first place at the MATHCOUNTS Hawaii State Competition last weekend, earning a trip to Orlando, Fla., to participate in the national competition May 6 to 9. Vo will be joined by Nikolai Chen of 'Iolani School, Brian Kim of Punahou School and Junhao Li of Waiakea Intermediate School in Hilo, who together are the top four finalists of the competition and will be the Hawai'i team.
