A man, who attempted to break up a fight early this morning outside a Waikiki restaurant, was assaulted by several men, police said.

The 39-year-old man tried to break up the fight at 3:05 a.m. today on Kuhio Avenue when several men were seen kicking him by witnesses, police said. He was treated at a local hospital for his injuries, police said.
Police arrested an 18-year-old was arrested on charges of assault in the second degree, but the other men involved fled the scene, police said.
