Three men were wounded — one of them critically — during an exchange of gunfire last night in a neighborhood in Wahiawa.
Police Capt. Letha DeCaires said this morning that three suspects were arrested.
They were identified as Robert Logsdon III, 31, of a Lumikula Street address in the Crestview area of Waipahu; Floyd Orsborn, 28, of a Koauka Loop address in the Pearlridge area; and Shane Reginald Flores, who did not furnish a local address.
All three remained in police custody this morning.
DeCaires said officers responded to a call of gunshots at a Kilea Place address shortly before 10:30 p.m.
She said officers determined that a car with three men in it had pulled up to the house and that two men had gotten out.
There was a confrontation between the two men and a man from the house, and gunfire was exchanged.
A neighbor said he heard about five gunshots. When he went outside to investigate, he heard about five more shots from a different gun and saw two men get into a car and drive off.
Police located the car — a silver Jetta — about 2 1/2 miles away on California Avenue, near the intersection with Kamehameha Highway.
Bryan Cheplic of the city's Emergency Services Department said paramedics initially were dispatched to the car's location.
There they treated and transported two men to a trauma center. One had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was in critical condition. The other was in stable condition with a single wound.
Cheplic said a man at the Kilea Place address was later taken to a hospital in stable condition with a single gunshot wound.
