TEMPE, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals have signed free-agent cornerback and kick returner Justin Miller to a one-year contract.
Miller participated in Arizona's minicamp in Tempe last weekend on a tryout basis after playing briefly last season for both Oakland and the New York Jets.
Miller was a second-round draft pick of the Jets in 2005 and played three seasons for them before being released in 2008. He made the Pro Bowl in 2006 as a kick returner, leading the league that season with a 28.3-yard average.
Miller has returned five kickoffs for touchdowns in his career, including a 103-yard score against Indianapolis on Oct. 1, 2006.
He joins Alan Faneca, Kerry Rhodes, Jay Feely and Ben Graham as ex-Jets in Arizona.
