CBB: Bonds, Winfield, Clark named to College World Series Legends Team

INDIANAPOLIS — Barry Bonds, Dave Winfield and Will Clark have been selected to the NCAA's College World Series Legends Team.

Twenty-five players and three coaches were chosen by members of the National Baseball Writers Association, The Omaha (Neb.) World-Herald and the NCAA in commemoration of the final CWS being played at Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium next month.

Other familiar names on the list include Bob Horner, Nomar Garciaparra, Robin Ventura, Fred Lynn, Terry Francona and Burt Hooton. Current players on the list include Pat Burrell, Huston Street and J.D. Drew.

LSU's Skip Bertman, Southern Cal's Rod Dedeaux and Augie Garrido, who worked at Cal State-Fullerton and Texas, were selected as coaches.
