SALT LAKE CITY — Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko says he's expecting to play in Game 3 of Utah's Western Conference playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Jazz trail the Lakers 2-0 and could use the lanky forward and his long arms. The Lakers averaged 50.5 rebounds and 10 blocks while winning both games in Los Angeles.
Kirilenko said before practice Thursday that his strained left calf shouldn't keep him out of the lineup when the series resumes Saturday in Salt Lake City.
Kirilenko missed 15 of the last 17 games of the regular season and hasn't played at all in Utah's eight playoff games. Kirilenko expects his playing time to be limited Saturday, but he will take whatever coach Jerry Sloan gives him.
