Horse racing: Trainer Baffert rules Conveyance out of Preakness

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Trainer Bob Baffert has ruled Conveyance out of the Preakness.
Baffert said Friday the 3-year-old colt will instead be pointed elsewhere. The Southwest Stakes winner set a blistering early pace in last weekend's Kentucky Derby before fading to 15th.
Baffert said he's still leaning toward entering beaten Derby favorite Lookin At Lucky in the Preakness. Baffert said he's "51 percent" sure Lookin At Lucky will run in the second jewel of the Triple Crown.
Derby winner Super Saver is a definite for the Preakness, as is third-place Derby finisher Paddy O'Prado and seventh-place finisher Dublin.
A full field of 14 is expected for the 1 3/16th-race at Pimlico next Saturday.
