A fetus found in a Kapolei park restroom was stillborn, acting Honolulu Medical Examiner Dr. William Goodhue said Wednesday.
Goodhue said yesterday that a 19-year-old woman miscarried the fetus.
He said the fetus was female and was about 28 to 29 weeks old. Normal gestation is 40 weeks.
According to police, the 19-year-old woman who gave birth Monday night said she did not know she was pregnant. They said she had gone to the restroom complaining of stomach cramps.
Detective Ted Coons has said no foul play is suspected.
