Police seek man who helped victim of attempted assault
Police want to speak to a man who came to the aid of a woman during an attempted sex assault on the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa campus Sunday.
The victim was walking near the William S. Richardson School of Law at about midnight when a man grabbed her and threw her to the ground, police said. While the two struggled, an unidentified man came to the victim's aid and helped her escape.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call HPD's Criminal Investigation Division at 529-3115 and ask for Detective Dwight Sato.
