Kalihi convenience store robbed

Police this morning were looking for a man in his 30s or 40s in connection with the hold-up of a convenience store in Kalihi last night.
A store employee, 61, told police the man entered about 8:10 p.m., took a can of soda from the cooler, approached the counter and began to pay for it.
The employee told police that as he opened the cash register, the robber pulled out a knife, jumped over the counter, removed an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store.
