Police last night arrested a 47-year-old man suspected of robbing a Pearl City business about 8:55 p.m.
Two women who work at the business said the man came in armed with a handgun and demanded they fill the bag he was carrying with cash, police said.
The man took the money and ran from the store, at which point police were notified.
Patrol officers responding to the robbery report found the suspect running from the area and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
The gun and the money were recovered, police said.
