Fans of the original "Hawaii Five-0" can get their first look at the version CBS plans to air next season in an online trailer, "Hawaii Five-0 Behind the Scenes."

The trailer uses clips from the pilot, which was shot on Oahu in March, and interviews with the show's new stars. The show feels as high on action as the stars do on enthusiasm.

"It's a modern-day version of what was a really cool show," says Alex O'Loughlin in the trailer. He will star as Detective Steve McGarrett, the head of an elite crime-fighting unit in the Islands.

The iconic theme song will be familiar, too, but with a bit more musical punch.

"It's going to be the hard rock version to the ballad of the original," O'Loughlin says.

A premier date has not been set, but filming is expected to start this summer.
