Palo Alto, Calif.
Aloha,
Today we arrived in Palo Alto, where we will be for the rest of the week throughout the NCAA Regional Tournament.
It is really exciting because our hotel is really nice and the famous university, Stanford, is right across the street.
This morning we woke up at our old location in Newark, and headed for San Jose State where we had our normal practice. It was fun going to San Jose again. It brought back memories of good times from previous trips to San Jose. After practice we went back to the hotel to check out, and headed for our new hotel.
When we arrived we all acted like kids at Disneyland because our hotel was so nice. Once we checked in, we all separated and found some lunch. After lunch we took naps and hung out at the pool. Life is pretty good on the road once school is done!
Tomorrow we have practice at Stanford's softball field which will be good because it gives us the chance to get to know the field we will be playing on for the tournament.
After practice we do not have any plans except most of our families will start to arrive tomorrow so Coach Bob will most likely let us hang out with them.
Our baseball team is playing down the road at San Jose so maybe tomorrow night we will be able to go watch their game. Other than that, it's just eat, sleep, and softball, not a bad life.
