NFL: Chiefs quiet after Bowe’s latest distraction

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe caused an off-the-field distraction by describing how his teammates arranged to have women meet them at a hotel during his rookie season.
Now, everyone is in lockdown mode.
The Chiefs were mum on Bowe's lurid story on Monday, with coach Todd Haley calling it an "internal matter" and players throughout the locker room repeating "no comment" at every turn.
Bowe caused a stir last week when he told ESPN the Magazine about a 2007 road trip when teammates "imported" women they found on social networking sites.
Bowe's career has been plagued by dropped passes and last year he was suspended four games for violating the NFL's drug policy.
