Police today arrested a third man in connection with a home invasion robbery early Sunday morning in Palolo.
Kainoa Ah Mook Sang, 20, of Kaululaau Street in Papakolea, was booked on one count of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. He remains in police custody pending charges.
Ah Mook Sang was arrested at 6:25 this morning at Puowaina Drive and Hookui Street on a $300 contempt of court warrant, police said. At about 4:30 this afternoon, he was booked on the additional robbery and burglary counts.
Two suspects were arrested Sunday after police launched a manhunt. Arrested were Jordan K. Artuyo, 18, of no local address; and Justin Lono, 28, of a Tantalus Drive address.
The robbery took place shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, with four men wielding sawed-off shotguns, handguns and knives entering a home on the 2000 block of 10th Avenue.
The men tied up its seven college-age occupants and demanded drugs and money, police said. They fled with cash, cell phones and a laptop computer.
The residents of the home are unrelated. Four suffered minor injuries, including lacerations and knife puncture wounds. They were taken to a hospital by friends and were released Sunday.
Police said the occupants of the house did not know the suspects.
